We designed this bag ourselves because we couldn't find any other credible tote on the market that is actually environmentally friendly.

Cotton totes are one of the worst offenders. While hemp and jute are better than cotton, their cultivation still requires significant energy and natural resources.

The Tern Tote is made from 100% reclaimed and recycled plastic; fabricated from start to finish right here in the United States.

We are on a mission to solve our ocean's plastic crisis. If you believe we deserve a clean environment and accept that it is our responsibility to do something about it, then you're in the right place.

For those who need a reliable and versatile bag, the Tern tote is here for you. We designed this bag so we wouldn't have to accept another disposable plastic bag... ever.

We also decided we should tern plastic against itself. So, we're using Repreve fabric which takes bottles, diverts them from landfills, and recycles them into durable fabric.

  • Made in the USA (fabric milled, cut, sewn)

  • Strap: Hangs 12in down from shoulder
  • Fabric: 7oz canvas weight (Repreve)
  • Environmental breakeven use number of less than 2

Why does this bag exist?

Too many “eco friendly” alternatives aren’t really eco friendly. We want high quality goods that have as big of an impact on restoring our oceans as possible. And we believe others want the same.

The average reusable tote has to be used over 30 times before it becomes a better alternative to single use plastics. Cotton totes have a break even of over 200 uses!

The Tern Tote is better for the environment on first use.

Who is this bag for?

This tote is for those who share our commitment to clean oceans and waterways... and who have a need for a reliable tote bag.

Our mission is to restore our oceans back to greatness. No more plastic pollution! The first step is to cut off single use plastics from the source.

Our goal is to provide a durable and multifunctional tote which empowers us to decrease the demand for single use plastic and increase demand for recycled and repurposed materials.
